The projected art on the bridge outside was interactive. The gray "human" shapes were "live". Sometimes I use quotes because I enjoy them.

art | nudes | horns] Frinight 28th
All in DUMBO (DownUnderManhattanBridgeOverpass) Brooklyn. Maybe it was just the mood I was in, but of all the places I've been to so far - this place has an honest creative presence and a place you'd like to live in. What I mean is in other spots the art has seemed shipped in physically and quality wise, and not a great vibe. This was a shipping area over 100 years ago so it's inherited gigantic warehouses. The open broad spaces reminded me of the Arc-1/Pencil Pushers spaces except larger. I wound up in a space that had great atmosphere then a bar, then of course as usual nude model drawing behind the curtain. Pretty damn entertaining. The models were changing their poses every 10 secs and my slow brain wasn't ready for that. After that of course their heads were attached with clear plastic wrap for us "artists" to draw. Seeing the plastic being wrapped around them, I said "at least it's not anything too weird". No response... oh well. And, Then a fantastic band bandpart2 entered the building.
